About Miss Arica

Hi, I'm Arica! I'm a homeschooling mom, a business owner and a preschool teacher who has spent 18 years working with young children and their families.

 For the last six years I've run my own state-licensed home preschool right here in Oceanside. People always ask me how I do it. The honest answer is that it isn't magic. It's understanding where your child is developmentally, and helping you trust what you already know: you know your baby best.

That's why Ive gone on to create Gather & Grow: The Modern Village, a space where moms, little ones and families come together to grow through holistic wellness, creative learning and real connection, no mom has to do this alone.

What age groups do you cater to?

Preschool programs are for children aged 2 to 5 years old, and Gather & Grow welcomes moms, little ones and the whole family.

Do you offer programs for homeschool students?

Yes! Homeschooling families are so welcome at Gather & Grow, our weekday meetups and family events for moms and little ones.

What types of educational materials do you provide?

We offer online curriculum packets, as well as online workshops that pair with printables and handmade educational toys, perfect for enhancing your child's learning experience.
